Autonomous, tube-based container-handling concept for seaport-to-inland-depot freight. Feasibility studies were completed in Brazil (Santos–São José do Rio Preto) and Hamburg, but no commercial pilot entered construction.

No active commercial deployment. Reclassified as a legacy concept; assets and know-how remain referenced by HyperloopTT’s freight portfolio.

Zeleros Hyperloop

Zeleros · 2016–2026

Valencia-based developer of a scalable hyperloop vehicle and tube system, backed by EIT InnoEnergy, ACCIONA and CAF. Prototyped a capsule and explored corridors in Spain, Germany and Southeast Asia.

Filed for voluntary insolvency in April 2026; assets redirected toward defence and energy applications.

Virgin Hyperloop One / Hyperloop One

Hyperloop One · 2014–2023

Pioneering full-scale hyperloop developer that raised over $450 million, built the 500 m DevLoop test track in Nevada and ran passenger-certification tests at 107 mph.

Ceased operations at the end of 2023; assets and test track put up for sale. Commercial projects (Saudi Arabia, India, UAE) did not proceed.

Planned 5-mile full-scale test route in California intended to validate HyperloopTT’s passenger and freight system.

No construction started; the concept was shelved as HyperloopTT refocused on Italy.
