Historic signing today in Veneto of the contract between CAV and the Hyper Builders consortium. The world's first operational prototype of ultra-fast magnetic levitation ground transportation, with an innovative train capable of traveling at the speed of an airplane, is being studied in Italy. Webuild, in a joint venture with Leonardo, has been awarded the contract, worth €4 million, for the feasibility study preparatory to the implementation of Hyper Transfer. Commissioned by Concessioni Autostradali Venete (CAV), it lays the groundwork for the realization of the world's first operational prototype, currently estimated to be worth a total of €800 million, and for the possible extension of transportation to passengers as well. The project will be financed by CAV, the Veneto Region, and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, and will be a preparatory test for the realization of other routes, allowing for the standardization at the national and European level of a transport system that does not actually exist to date.
