Reducing air pressure lowers aerodynamic drag at high speed. The tube is not transparent: it is an opaque industrial structure with joints, seals, access points, services and verifiable evacuation systems.

Levitação, guiamento e propulsão

A vehicle may use wheels, air bearings or magnetic levitation during different operating phases. Guidance keeps the vehicle in the correct position, while a linear motor transfers energy along the route. The choices depend on speed, capacity, cost and route conditions.

A segurança é um sistema

Safety is not demonstrated by a prototype’s top speed. It requires hazard analysis, redundancy, leak detection, communications, braking, emergency access and progressive tests on representative infrastructure.

  • tube integrity and pressure management
  • traffic control and separation
  • evacuation and rescue
  • electromagnetic compatibility and cyber security
