AI Engineering

Design and deploy machine-learning pipelines that turn engineering, operational and market signals into actionable insight for Hyperlab AI and the Hyperloop Global Observatory.

What you will do

  • Build predictive models for infrastructure performance, risk and demand scenarios.
  • Integrate LLM and retrieval systems for internal research assistants and public knowledge products.
  • Work with engineers to turn telemetry, design and certification data into structured datasets.

Requirements

  • Solid Python/ML engineering background and production experience.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, vector stores and modern AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Interest in mobility, infrastructure or regulated industrial systems.
Full-time · Project based · HyperSafe / Europe’s Rail JU

Control Command & Signalling Engineer

Lead WP4 activities in HyperSafe, the Europe’s Rail JU project that defines the regulatory and technical basis for safe hyperloop operation in Europe. You will validate a hyperloop-specific Control Command and Signalling architecture.

What you will do

  • Define movement authority logic, speed supervision and emergency command execution for hyperloop capsules.
  • Compare and adapt an ETCS-derived baseline to low-latency, high-density hyperloop operations.
  • Support TRL4 validation of safety-critical CCS components and subsystems.

Requirements

  • Experience in rail signalling, ERTMS/ETCS or equivalent safety-critical control systems.
  • Understanding of CENELEC processes, safety cases and certification pathways.
  • Willingness to work in a multi-partner EU research consortium.

Project & Infrastructure Analyst

Support the development of hyperloop corridors from early corridor studies through planning consent and project finance. You will translate technical concepts into documents that institutions, investors and regulators can act on.

What you will do

  • Develop feasibility materials, business-case inputs and investor-ready briefings.
  • Map stakeholder landscapes, consent processes and public-funding opportunities.
  • Coordinate inputs across engineering, legal and commercial teams.

Requirements

  • Background in infrastructure, engineering, economics or public policy.
  • Strong analytical writing and presentation skills in English.
  • Experience on large transport or energy infrastructure programmes is a plus.
Full-time / Internship · Hybrid · Milan

Observatory & Research Analyst

Help build the Hyperloop Global Observatory, the first permanent public watch on the worldwide hyperloop market. You will track projects, installations, policy and funding and publish structured market intelligence.

What you will do

  • Monitor and verify global hyperloop projects, tests, funding rounds and policy moves.
  • Contribute to the annual Hyperloop Global Observatory market research report.
  • Maintain data quality and editorial standards across the observatory database.

Requirements

  • Excellent research and source-verification skills.
  • Comfort with data collection, structured databases and clear written outputs.
  • Curiosity for deep-tech mobility and international industrial policy.
